I got busy creating my tissue paper tabletop tree. This project requires a lot of patience and free time. You can do the flowers while watching TV or when you are not doing anything at all. Another scarf that I saw in Pinterest struck me and feel in love with it. I got some ideato Desiree of Suddenly Found here but I made few changes that I think it would be easy for me.

My fabric is a jersey knit that is 72 inches in length but I cut it to 62 inches (to create a about 30 inches loops). Set aside the remaining. We all seen this cotton jersey scarf. I had a used long sleeve cotton jersey that I thought I can use to make this scarf. This is a combination of seam and tied knots jersey scarf. 




First cut the shirt into strips about an inch from the bottom up to the underarm.



Stretch the fabric.





To add some volume, I also used the sleeves of my jersey. Cut the seams on the sides.

I bought a pair of lamp in Craigslist. It came with a pair of bell lamp shades that are looks humongous for the lamps. I do not have a budget to buy a pair of drum lamp shades. Since the shades are big, I decided to try and convert it to drum shade. If I fail, then I will be patient to look for lamp shades in Craigslist. It's good I didn't.

Here's how I did to transform my kitchen cabinets. 

 

First remove all the cabinet doors then measure and cut the beadboard wallpaper.




 

Next, wet the back of the wallpaper and let it sit for about 5 minutes then adhere to the cabinet doors (make sure to remove the bubbles by pressing it with cloth).   I had a great deal in these memory box frames from Michaels. These were in the clearance sale isle. There were some chips but unnoticeable.

I have this empty wall space in our kitchen that I been thinking what to put in. I decided to make something like a reminder and I came out with this.
These are three 5 x 7 canvas that I bought from the dollar store. I used two coordinating cardstock. I applied Mod Podge in the canvass and put my cardstock. This was a frame with brown wood laminated background. It’s one of Ikea’s wall décor shown HERE. Both have chips in the corners. BTW, I bought this from a thrift store for less than two bucks. I applied Mod Podge in the frame then stick the card stock and Mod Podge again.

Here's the finished product of the frames I was making for our dining area. It's really simple. Time flies! It's already my son's first birthday. He's already starting to walk. He still falls down but most of the time he's on his tiny feet. He is babbling a lot. I made my son a mini album. I used foam stickers of Disney Cars and personalized with his name. The mini was made of chipboard and I just bought some cardstock in Michaels. My local Michaels do not have cardstock of Disney Cars so I just looked for something that will match the colors. I used Cricut machine to cut the chipboard and SCAL2. I bind it using Bind-it-All.

These were all made from organza ribbon and an ordinary ribbon. These can be used in your scrapbooking projects, hair accessories, or decorations in your projects.

These are my handmade paper roses. These are made up of cardstock. I will be posting a tutorial soon. The polka dots roses, I stamp the cardstock with polka dots and same as the handwritten rose. The glittered one, I used a glitter stick. The Shiny one, I used clear glue.

Above is my Son's dedication favor. It's a magnetic frame with small calendar on it. Behind the calendar are four small photos of him. I told my husband that I like to attach a calendar so it will have a purpose and not just a display. Thanks to my sister-in-law and her husband for designing the pictures. My husband just made a little change.

I finally finished my son’s invitations for his dedication. I made my own template for the onesies. I asked my husband to edit a picture of my son and I can put it in front the invites. I used white Gelly Roll pen to create a stitched-like in parts of the onesies and added some brads for a snap-like thingy. 
Inside, I embossed the inside part to create some dimensions. I made this wooden name of my son, Nathan when I was still pregnant. I was about 8 or 9 months pregnant that time when I finished it. I bought everything from Michaels. The acrylic paint I used was Baby Blue. The characters used are all made when I got them.

I have two unfinished mini cork board. Since my son's birthday party is around the corner, I decided to finished these and add to my loop bags. I painted the cork to add some colors. The backgrounds are chipboard that I embossed. I added some embellishments.
