Here's the tea cart I mentioned in my Chevron Tea Cart. If you'd like to see my posting here. This tea cart is a little bit wider in depth than the previous one. I wanted to make something different out of it but I am not really sure what it was. Here's I came up with:

I have tons of digital photos that needs to be print but my problem is I do not have a space to store it. I was thinking of making a photo book. Another problem is I do not have a digital scrapbooking software to create it. My heart's desire was answered. I received an email from My Memories and offered me to try and review My Memories Suite v 4.

I love to have a tea cart and when I found it in Craigslist I grab the opportunity to take it. To be honest not just one, I got two.
I decided to transform this tea cart based on my design like. It's in great condition. Wheels are moving smoothly. It's slim and "leaves" can go up or down easily. It has a small drawer. If you'd like to know how I change her look, please come along with me.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com22tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8283908264412800668.post-55584255116805317522013-02-25T11:05:00.000-08:002013-04-03T08:54:24.636-07:00My Son's 3rd Superhero Birthday
My son's, Nathan, birthday is after Halloween. My husband and I decided to make his birthday a kids' costume party so they can re-use their costume. Courtesy of my nephew, Joshua, his small Superman costume was passed on to my son. Since it's after the Halloween, Caleb, our baby had a great deal on his Batman costume. We celebrated Caleb's dedication at the same time.

It's been a year since I didn't blog. What happened? I remembered on my last post, I made a tutorial of the Table Top Tissue Paper Tree. It was Christmas time. I found out that I was pregnant. My husband and I were very happy and excited. Immediately after that I experienced the worse morning sickness....much worst than my first pregnancy. I was too weak. I just stayed in the couch. I got busy creating my tissue paper tabletop tree. This project requires a lot of patience and free time. You can do the flowers while watching TV or when you are not doing anything at all. If you are planning to have this decor on Christmas start early like around September so you don't need to rush.
Things you'll need:

Another scarf that I saw in Pinterest struck me and feel in love with it. I got some ideato Desiree of Suddenly Found here but I made few changes that I think it would be easy for me.
Here's how I did it.
My fabric is a jersey knit that is 72 inches in length but I cut it to 62 inches (to create a about 30 inches loops). Set aside the remaining. We all seen this cotton jersey scarf. I had a used long sleeve cotton jersey that I thought I can use to make this scarf. This is a combination of seam and tied knots jersey scarf.
First cut the shirt into strips about an inch from the bottom up to the underarm.
Stretch the fabric.
To add some volume, I also used the sleeves of my jersey. Cut the seams on the sides.

I found this pillow case from my neighbor and family friend's donation bags. I liked the embroidery and I need one more throw pillow for my living room. I also love the fabric. It also reminded me of those days when I visit my grandfather's house. They have a lot of these pillow cases.

The first time I joined Link Parties I only joined few blog hosts. The reason is it was too time consuming. This is the bookshelf where I create my own background. I got this bookshelf for free in Craigslist. I liked it because of the mini bar in which I converted to mini working area/office (sort of secretary desk). I am not fan of the dark color. As I promised in my Chevron and Quarterfoil Throw Pillow Case posting, I will post a tutorial on how I printed the Chevron and Quatrefoil without using painter's tape. (I don't recommend you NOT to use a painter's tape. It's just me that seems a lot of work and tape to use to cover a pillow.)
