Memory Box Frame

I had a great deal in these memory box frames from Michaels. These were in the clearance sale isle. There were some chips but unnoticeable.

Here, I decided to place this accessories. Why? Because I love the color. The button I just painted it using acrylic paint. The flower are from Prima Flowers.

These were my handmade flowers.

Lol! You can see me taking photos. Sorry not a professional photographer.

Happy viewing. Please leave your comment.

Kitchen Wall Decor

I have this empty wall space in our kitchen that I been thinking what to put in. I decided to make something like a reminder and I came out with this.

These are three 5 x 7 canvas that I bought from the dollar store. I used two coordinating cardstock. I applied Mod Podge in the canvass and put my cardstock. Then I applied Mod Podge again on top of the cardstock to look shiny and for protection. Just a little trick on Mod Podge, make sure that your cardstock is thick and apply Mod Podge generously.

Stairway Photo Collage

I was inspired by Sandra here to post our family photos in the stairways. I would like my son to recognize and know my husband and I's family. Both of our parents and siblings are in abroad. It helps! Because every time we are using the stairs, he's pointing his fingers to the photos and bubbling their names.

I bought all the frames from thrift store. Most of them are a buck to less than four dollars (Happy me!!!). I primed it with Zinsser Oil Base Primer and spay paint it with Rust-oleum Semi-Gloss white. The photos were edited using Photoshop.

Wall Frame with Mirror

This was a frame with brown wood laminated background. It’s one of Ikea’s wall décor shown HERE. Both have chips in the corners. BTW, I bought this from a thrift store for less than two bucks. I applied Mod Podge in the frame then stick the card stock and Mod Podge again.

A cheaper way to add colors on your wall.

Welcome Wall Frame

My younger sister, Dette,  gave my family this wall frame with our last name (ANTONIO) printed last Christmas.  Instead of placing our photo, I decided to print "Welcome to our home" and place it above our coat rack in our front door.

Thanks sis!

Dining Wall Decor

Here's the finished product of the frames I was making for our dining area. It's really simple. I just painted the frames that I bought from Michaels (These were unpainted square without glass) with white acrylic paint. The paint is only from the dollar store and I used three coats. Still, I did not empty the whole thingy. Happy me! Then, I applied the gloss Varnish (make sure it is non-yellowing).

For the photos, I asked my husband to edit all the pictures I found in the web. Most of these pictures were the fruits and flowers that I liked. Fruits are mostly tropical except for oranges. Delicious!!! My favorite flowers are Hydrangeas and Gerbera.

The Stuff of Success

Wooden Name Decor - JOSHUA

My nephew, Joshua, was visiting us from the US. He saw my son's wood name and he asked me if he can make one for his room. We bought the materials and he chose the theme he would like to put on his name. He chose Disney characters.

His new friends (Jeremie, Brian, Matthew, Justin, and Samantha) in our neighborhood helped him paint all the letters with red acrylic paint. I did the finishing painting on all the letters. I attached the characters and names using glue gun. I used foam tape behind the characters to have some dimension. Since these letters couldn't stand on their own, I decided to hang them.

Wooden Name Decor - NATHAN

I made this wooden name of my son, Nathan when I was still pregnant. I was about 8 or 9 months pregnant that time when I finished it. I bought everything from Michaels. The acrylic paint I used was Baby Blue. The characters used are all made when I got them.
