I've been looking for lamps in Craigslist and at last it happened. When my husband and I picked-up the lamps, he gave me that "look" (meaning if I am sure about it). But after that "look", he said, "I know you can transform it!" Wow what a relief! I am glad that my husband believes in me. When I finally finished both lamps and turn it on, he really appreciate it and told me that it so calming and relaxing to see.
Here's the before photo of one of the lamps. The pair cost CAD$8.00. I bought two kinds of paint approximately CAD$12.00. See the rest of the post for the outcome.

Remember this bell lamp shade that I converted to drum lamp shade? If you'd like to know how I did it, please click here for the tutorial.
Here's after I spray paint the lamp with Krylon Blue Ocean Breeze and Metallic Silver for the stand.
Here's the photo of the two lamps when they're ON.
Here's another view.
My inspiration to this is from Nesting Place where you can also get the tutorial for the sunburst mirror and great inspiration.
