Upcycle Pillow Case

I found this pillow case from my neighbor and family friend's donation bags. I liked the embroidery and I need one more throw pillow for my living room. I also love the fabric. It also reminded me of those days when I visit my grandfather's house. They have a lot of these pillow cases.

I used the same technique when I printed the chevron and quatrefoil throw pillows. In this, I decided to print monogram "A" and word "relax".

I used my spray adhesive and my left over fabric paint.

Make sure to read the application instruction and use the temporary bond method.

Use a masking tape to stretch your fabric.  Spray the adhesive at the back of the of the stencil (Again, I used cardstock and my Cricut machine. I know you can also use X-acto knife.). Arrange the cut monogram and word to your fabric.

Start painting using the foam brush. Just dub when you are painting the edges. Make sure to use a little amount of paint so it won't bleed.

Wait for a little bit to dry and remove your stencil.

Here's the monogram "A"

Here's the word "relax". I folded the pillow and secure with buttons.

Thanks for viewing!

And God is able to make all grace abound to you,
so that in all things at all times, having all that you need,
you will abound in every good work.
